The short version: this site sets no cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember things about your visit — a login, a preference, or an identifier used to track you across sites.
2. What this site uses
hornbeamtech.org sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no embedded social media. We practise what we recommend to clients: collect the minimum, and nothing silently.
3. Third-party requests
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those font files, Google receives a standard web request (including your IP address and browser details). Google states that its Fonts service does not use cookies. You can read Google's own explanation at developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.
4. Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure may keep short-lived access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and reliability. These are not used to identify or profile visitors. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data generally.
5. If this changes
If we ever add something that uses cookies — for example a contact form with spam protection — we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
